At first we kept driving past lots of things we wanted to see because we couldn’t work out reverse on her hire car but eventually the very untechnical me worked it out!! She was relieved as was on the point at having to go into a garage and ask them where reverse was and she wasn’t looking forward to the mechanic laughing at her! At least I was just as untechnical as her and that you had to pull up this little flappy ting in order to make it reverse.
Anyway then we went to Derwent Bridge and walked round part of Lake St Clair. It was freezing but stayed dry for out walk. It was really beautiful but then Jana bought be some pumpkin soup, which made everything better!
