I'd been looking foreard to Rottnest island and seeing Quokkas for ages so it was really exciting to finally be there! I had wanted to stay the night but the isite and campsite and backpackers had laughed at me for even suggesting that there might accomodation at this time of year..
The ferry journey was pretty good and the blue seas were mesmerising..
I got on the local hop on hop off bus service and stopped off at every beach going.. when i got off at the first one there was this little quokka that came running up to me to say hello!! awesome!!!!
